Sleeping Dogs looks good, even though the PS3 roots are clear. The radio plays nice tunes from real life music to original tracks made specifically for the game. It's not the same style of game. The world is much smaller, there's no driving and not really any true shooting either. The gameplay alternates between combat and text-driven, humourous sidequests, with a lot of bunch of gambling and rhythm based minigames on the side.

Yakuza's more comparable to something like Way of the Samurai or Shenmue. However, the main story involves a lot of organised crime and gang intrigue, which is similar to Sleeping Dogs. If you played SD for that, you'll get a lot of the same thing out of Yakuza.
